2000 neon dos not get any power to the coil - 2000 Dodge Neon

Could be the coil, or a crank or cam sensor.
The components would need to be tested.

You'll need as shop manual or repair book to get the test procedures for the ignition module-coil assembly.
You need to know if you have power to the coil and a ground signal from the computer.

The spark plug wires might be bad, Are the coil packs a wires together in one? With the engine off, loosen each plug wire so as to when you start it you can not have to battle with it First do this with dry floor, rubber sole shoos and a pare of rubber or vinyl gloves. As its running pull 1 plug wire off at a time. When you get to a plug that doesn't change the sound of the motor you've found your miss. Did the CK engine light come on?

The PCM - engine computer has drivers or transistors inside that control the coil's . Three wire's to the coil . One dark green with orange trace is power , should have B+ voltage . The black with gray trace is control side from PCM . for # 1 coil . Testing with a test light . Videos on youtube .

How to test computer transistor driver without scan tool

for fuel....it could be a dirty or clogged air filter or emission system not working properly or fuel injection system not functioning properly...
for loss of power......worn camshaft lobes, faulty spark plug wires or coil, fuel injection system, air filter plugged, low compression or uneven cylinders....

You might have a bad coil pack causing the engine to stall after it gets hot, I would start with changing the coil pack, good luck, Gary

Did this backfiring start after the tune-up? If yes, check firing order of plug wires. Also , if you paid someone to do this, have you consulted with them regarding the way the vehicle is running?

P0302 is miss fire #2 cyl like a bad plug,wire or coil P1684 will set if you have lost battery power or battery has been disconnected the miss fire is why the car is jerking

check crank sensor hat would account for no spark

i will check the timing belt first see if broken or good then the fuel presure then the ignition coil
