Cant put my 2005 saab 9-3 hand brake handle came apart

It sounds as though the siren assembly is malfunctioning.It has 2 rechargeable batteries which don't last forever i,m afraid. It is situated under the left hand front wing (fender) splash guard.(a black box which is held in with 2 ten millimeter nuts and 1 connector.Parts for repairing can be obtained (E-Bay)

Malfunction most likely at the computer or PCM for your vehicle. Try this. Take off both battery cables, wait 15 minutes, rehook, then see if light goes off. Software for Saab? Never heard of needing software for the airbags.........

Panel is easy to remove with just 2 screws (#30 bit) in the door handle. You must first remove the cover from the handle used to close the door when getting in the car and the screws are there. The rest of the panel are snap-ins.

You can try using anti squeal on the pads. This works in some cases.Another area to check is the rotors for truness. Also all brake hardware and make sure the caliper moves freely on it's slides. Squeal is caused by the pads vibrating. Hope this helps solve your problem.

the rubber coated flexable lines have a plastic tube inside and with age they come apart.
when you step on the brakes the fluid will go thru them because of the pressure but there is very little pressure for it to return and most anything can stop the fluid from getting thru to release the brakes.
only other thing it could be is a bad mastercylinder

Mine did that a few months ago. I ended up getting mad and pulling the plastic off of the emergency brake. It is just two halfs snapped together. After doing this, I could see that the cheap plastic trigger you squeeze to release the brake had a crack in it and was no longer able to pull the cable to release the brake. Until I get it fixed, I am able to just use one hand to pull up on the emergency brake slightly to ease the tension on the cable, then use the other hand the grasp the metal cable and pull it, which will allow the brake to be released back to it's lowered/released position. That was what was wrong in my case anyways... one of my MANY problems I've had with this car. I'd NEVER own another Saab.

I belive it would have to do it through the blue tooth menu on the phone but you will have to activate the vehicles system also which should be in the owners manual.I hope this helps you.

open the driver door, and look at the side of the dash. You will see fuse box cover.
