Wipers quit while driving, LCM burnt out that night, replaced LCM now above not working, GM3 looks good all fuses are good, do we have to reprogram for used LCM installed
Yes you will need the dealer to correct this, the two modules are not communicating.

try checking for a short to power on ur 12 volt comming into motor also check for a good ground at the plug for ur wiper motor

make sure the back window is all the way up then try the wiper, if it still does not work then it is a sensor for the rear window (about $30.00) if you installed it yourself

The first thing i would do would be check the fuses. Look in your owners manual for where the different fuses that might control your windshield wipers.There may be more than one. Check these fuses. If you cannot tell if it is blown by looking at it, check the fuses using a voltmeter set to read continuity.

on the BMW there is an electronic control module that controls all of these functions, sounds like you have a problem with it. Check your fuses, if non are blow there are dealers on e bay that can repair it for around the £70 mark. I have a similar problem with my 3 series
