SOURCE: Where is the AC Low pressure valve on a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix?

sometimes its behind the alternator real close to the firewall. Find the bigger of the two hoses and pipes the low side is always bigger. Also the cap is blue and the fitting for the charging can will only fit on the right valve.

Where is the engine coolant temp sensor located on a 2004 grand prix gt

On the 3.8 liter the coolant temp sensor is right below the the thermostat in the intake manifold on the drivers side of the engine.

The thermostat is under the housing that is bolted to the intake plenum that the upper hose is attached to.

Do you have to lift the motor on a Pontiac grand prix 6 cyl. to get to the back freeze plug that is leaking oil?

if you have a freeze plug leaking oil you've got major problems....freeze plugs or expansion plugs are for engine coolant only, they are there in case the coolant freezes it will pop out one of those plugs before it cracks open the engine block. at least in theory. you should probably start with the valve cover gaskets and then do upper and lower intake gaskets...

I have a 2004 grand prix, 3.8 in need of a thermostat. The engine is not heating up to operation temperature. Where is it located.

where the main radiator hose connects to the engine block, if you remove the hose (be ready to catch some coolant with a floor-catcher) it should be just inside there.

the pcv valve will be sticking out of the valve cover in either the front or back. and as for the dexcol, i would have it flushed really well and replaced with the reg green coolant. ive seen that stuff get bad quick.
