You will need to disengage the Negative terminal (Black side) and then the Red (positive side). In addition, there might be a securing bracket with two bolts or wing nuts, loosen these and the rods can be pushed down and twist out of the bottom. Once this is done remove the battery and head to your local Auto parts store, they can help you select the correct one. re-assemble as you have taken apart. you will need to re program your stereo and reset your clock, (prior to removing terminals) make sure there are no special lock out codes for your stereo. Good luck!

you will need to remove the wheel on the passenger side, and then proceed to remove the wheel well, several screws, the battery should be able to be removed, as for the bracket, you will need to take out the air filter container or box, Good Luck!

Turn your wheels sharply to the passenger side for underside access. Remove the top filters for access from the front. On the bottom, there will be plastic guard with clips and bolts. This can be removed for access underside if needed. Disconnect the cables from underside, and topside. Remove battery and replace it in opposite order. Turning the wheels sharply is the biggest help.

SOURCE: 2001 Chrysler Concorde pressed the brake

That sound you hear is coming from the Vauum Brake Booster...Sooner or later the Brake Pedal will get hard, because the seal inside of the Brake Booster is leaking..And the only way to repair it, is , to replace the Brake Booster...But also check your Vacuum Hose that is instaaled on your Brake Booster..It goes from the Brake Booster, which is behind the Master Cylinder...From there to the Intake Manifold...Just make sure that there are no cracks in that hose, and make sure it is on all the way...because if the hose is bad, then thats all you will have to replace....Goodluck...

You have to take the passenger front wheel off first. Then you un-screw the paneling in the front of the wheel well and there you have it. The battery is sitting right there ready for your removal. You have to remove the air cleaner box as well to get to the retaining straps on the top of the battery.
