I have a 1996 dodge caravan and the trany blue so

Could be a few things, Tune up, fuel filter, bad plugs, bad wires, dirty throttle body and crank shaft sensor.Good luck.

J, I am sending you some info to read but it appears that the most likely cause is the blower motor relay. Give the following notes a read and if you need some more help give me a buzz... Best of Luck..

Fuse is OK. Tests/Procedures: 1. At the blower motor, there is a Dark Blue wire. This wire should have battery voltage whenever the key is in the "on" position. Power for the blower motor comes from the blower relay.

2. Access the front blower relay, it is located on the driver's side under the dash, near the junction block. There will be four wires going to it. The Dark Green wire should have battery voltage all the time. The Dark Blue wire is going to the motor. The Black/Orange wire should have battery voltage with the key in the "on" position. The Black wire should be grounded at all times. On this circuit, the relay is energized whenever the key is in the "on" position. Potential Causes: Front Blower Relay

Under the hood there's a fuse/relay center. Take the cover off and look at all the fuses. I recently had a similar experience with a 98 and the EATC fuse was blown. When replaced the vehicle worked just fine.

Look at your trany and see if it is a part that you remove from your trany and put there,i bet it does

Mounted on the trany is a speedometer sensor. The vehical will not up-shift it, sensor, is malfunctioning. The vehicles computer doesn't know that it is not going fast enough to change gears.

common problem with those tranys, the gears let go, take it back ,bad rebuild if done recently. good luck. hope this helped.

If it all fell off, you need someone experienced & qualified to take a good look and determine what caused it to come off & what damage has been done, as well as check other side for possible wrong assembly. Don't take a chance, have it looked at a.s.a.p.
