this is for a system with a/c. If you don't have a/c let me know and I will get you the correct one but i'm sure that you have a/c and power steering.

This is for 3.0L and a 3.5Lengines please follow carefully.

1. Remove the right hand cover under the engine.
2. Turn the drive belt tensioner clockwise to relieve tension on the belt.
3. Remove the fan and generator V belt.
4. Return the tensioner to the unloaded position.

To install:

1. Turn the drive belt tensioner clockwise
2. Install the belt.
3. Install the right hand cover under the engine.

this what I found for your jeep( I did not know engine size or a few other things) hope this is right.

the diagram should be on a sticker on the radiator shroud cover or, the hood latch cover.

Removal & Installation

1. Remove the right hand cover under the engine.
   
2. Turn the drive belt tensioner clockwise to relieve tension on the belt.
   
3. Remove the fan and generator V belt.
   
4. Return the tensioner to the unloaded position.
   
   NOTE When retracting the tensioner, turn it clockwise slowly in 3 sec. or more. Be sure not to apply force rapidly. After the tensioner is retracted all the way, do not apply force any more than necessary.
   
   

To install:

1. Turn the drive belt tensioner clockwise
   
2. Install the belt.
   
3. Install the right hand cover under the engine.
   

Which engine?? Your local part store can print it out for you or at least show it to you, Haynes manuals are GREAT if its something you will be working on alot, and my favorite is google images, just type in year make model engine size and serpentine belt diagram and it should pop right up!!

First note the route of the belt. make a drawing.
Adjustments are made by moving the power steering pump. far right of belt system.
loosen top fixed bolt above center of drive wheel on p/s pump.
loosen bolt below drive wheel on p/s pump.
Push p/s pump to the left to loosen belt.
Remove old belt .replace following route of your drawing.
move p/s pump to right .
top of belt should have 1/2 inch deflection.
tighten bolts
