Drive shaft coupling ????
Check the obvious first . . . CV boot joints, track rod ends
Check your rack and pinion bushing, when bushing wears it also can make that sound. Motor mount also does the same when the center rubber bushing wears, when taking off or taking corners. worn front shocks/struts will also make a bad sound, but as much as the thud sounds. power steering will either quiet completely and some will make a horrible grinding and sqreeching noise half of the time before it go bad. dobt is your power steering, check both side power steering bushing fist.
This is most likely the steering knuckle or tie rod end that needs grease or most likley replacement. If your hear clunk when turning, then it is proabably the tie rod ends. If clunks while driving, then it may be the balljoints.
