There's a special socket with a **** in it to remove the O2 sensor without cutting the wire(s). I would just cut the wire(s) near the sensor and use a box end wrench after spraying some penetrating oil on it and letting it soak in for a few hours. Follow the wires back to the connector and unplug them. Put some antiseize compound on the threads of the new one and screw it in, then plug the wiring connector together. I've even replaced one with nothing more than a crescent wrench, but be carefull not to round the sides of the sensor unless you have vicegrips standing by.
