Replace the iac valve. It controls idle or its a thermal vacuum port bad

try ignition on , dont start engine, press the button on the end of wiper stalk and hold until the speedo and rev needles start sweeping ,wait until they've completed the self test , about 90-120 secs then turn ign off and then start engine and lower roof down then back up

There is a mega fuse on top of the positive terminal of the battery the black one in the middle those have been known to blow remove it and check with a multimeter.

It does sound like engine mount , if you open the bonnet and get someone to lift the cluch while the handbrake is on, then whilst looking at the engine it should apear jump up on whatever side the mount is broken on. Try this in reverse and 1st gear try to avoid stalling the car and once you have confermed the fault avoid contiually jumping the engine as it can damage other engine mounts/parts.

this is a white box on the other side of the passangers dash board. lift up the bonnet and disconnect it. that will stop the noise but now your heaters will only get warm instead of hot. its some sort of flap to do with the heater matrix. realy anoying

Have you run the test to get the trouble codes out of Powertrain control modules menory, that is a good place to start. post the code(s) back here on this thread and I will help you.

This sounds like you have a pressure fault, these gearboxes suffer from pressure solonoid failure, take the car to your dealer and have it scanned, this will show the fault, it is not an expensive job, but if left it can turn into one.

Check fuses because the one that controls ciggarette lighter can often blow and this can be a sympton of that,could be loose. Looks like a bad connection from one of the speed sensors which control the abs, do you get abs light stay on. Could be wiring under the bonnet,check all visible wiring too. Failing them it`ll have to be an auto electrician.
