I live in a very hot climate, Yuma AZ. In the morning when I go to work, my ac is working fine front and back blowing very cold air. But when it heats up during the day, my car hardly cools down. The front blower is blowing warm air and the rear is blowing cool air. Sometimes it cools a little, but that is right before I get home.

No heat or ac controls on a 1997 suburban

Is the blower running? Is coolant hot in the heater core when you set controls to hot? Do you have a picture of which setup you have?

How do i reset climate control

There are a couple of options. Disconnect the battery, then drive the vehicle around without using the AC for 10 min, if the AC is defaulted to come on after a battery interuption, then shut the car down then turn it on again. You are trying to get the electronic actuator to reset and resume proper function. Another option is to try this: Start the car, adjust the pax side full hot, drivers full cold, wait 30 sec then shut car down, then start car back up and reverse the settings, pax full cold, drivers full hot. In both solutions, the vent actuators are stuck at either the full open or full closed, so you are trying to get it to 'self check' and allow them to resume proper function. After two years, I simply removed them altogether since I live where it is hot an only need cold.works just fine....

Why is engine temperature getting hot

Maybe the termostat is not working properly!

AC stops working when cabin temp reaches 109-110

indicates gas pressure and condenser cooling problems
check the condenser fan is working properly and have the gas pressures checked by gauges
check that the evaporator fins are clean and not blocked as ice build up will cause the same indications

Heater gets stuck on hot

I have the same problem! My buddy told me the problem is in the climate control. There is a resister that is not working properly, you have to replace your climate control. If you don't know where that is, it the thing you see below your stereo, lol! You can pick one up at an autowreck yard for cheap and to change it out is easier

AC Problem

The on/auto switch is for the fan only on is continuous, auto is just when the t-stat calls for cool. If it works in on possition that means its getting power to the t-stat but does nothing in cool & auto then its your t-stat. $19.95 a wal-mart. probably four wires like this. screws are marked G-R-W-Y. You can do it.
