SOUND LIKE ENGINE IS FLOODING. FUEL INJECTORS IS LEAKING FUEL WITH ENGINE OFF.TRY FILLING GAS TANK UP.AND PUT A BOTTLE OF FUEL INJECTION CLEANER IN GAS TANK DRIVE AROUND A LITTLE SO THE CLEANER CAN CLEAN INJECTORS.

if the motor is behind the glove box you have to
Loosen two screws under box,lift gently up and remove the heater resister is on the top of motor with a scew in it. You should be able to go from there hope this helps
You will find the fuel filter under the hood, center, upper firewall, mounted in the fuel line. Trace the fuel lines from the intake system if you have trouble finding it.
If you have spark but will not styart without atarting fluid the you need to replace fuel pump and fuel filter if you have spark and no fuel your car will nit start and vice versa.
The two most common things are the pgmfi (fuel injection) relay, and the distributors. Replace the relay first, not too expensive and a new one is peace of mind, if that doesn't fix it, my money would be on the distributor. The relay is a rectangular (1"x1"x2") box bolted way up under the drivers side dashboard. It will say "Mitsuba" on it.
