Check engine light on an isuzu trooper

I have a 1999, isuzu trooper. A check engine light appeared and the code that i got off my diagnostic is P0445. How do i fix this?

Have a 1999 3.0td trooper. Diesel fuel in coolant and overheating. Suspected problem with head so replaced with new head and gasket set. Timing appears correct.Fuel appears to be flowing. Engine will not start..turns over..no nasty noises...appears to have compression...any ideas please??

    ihave the same problem.... i bought 2002 trooper, I have a friend from Isuzu and he has checked the system,... found out to be TPS Throttle position sensor.... try to check with obd codes.

Hi this code is not on the chart you should erase the code and see if it comes back and if it does then check if it's P0446 and not 445

My 1999 Isuzu trooper blinked Check Engine
Hi Tony:
When the Check Engine Light is flashing ON it means that the computer has detected a misfire in the engine.It is not good to drive a vehicle that has a flashing check engine light; one or more sensor in your vehicle is advise about an code fault. I suggest scanning for know what code is in there and solve it.

In some vehicles, a red check-engine light means the car needs absolute immediate attention while a yellow check-engine light means you need to make an appointment soon. The light is used to indicate PCM (Powertrain Control Module) problems that are associated with your vehicle's emissions system.

Where is the diagnostic plug to get codes from check engine light
The 1990 Isuzu Trooper with a 2.8L GM engine, the diagnostic connector is located directly beneath the coin try in the front of your center console!!
Along with the typical OBD connector is two wires with a spade connector on each, one female and one male. Connect the two wires to display the diagnostic codes on your check engine lamp on the instrument cluster panel.
As for finding out your codes meanings, go to your nearest public library and locate a 1990 Trooper service manual.
