Look under the hood for a big vacuum leak. Usually a large hose on the intake manifold near the front pops off. A big vacuum leak can cause a high idle. Hope this helps.
thanks Chryslerguy!! you were right on the Neon. I really was beside myself after replacing all the engien mounts last month, then a new radiator Friday and the car breaks down again Sunday! you were correct. My brother came down , found the intake house off and repaired it! Saved me money!! thanks!
