The nightmare continues, everytime you start the car the power steering is tight. The engine light comes on and it acts like the transmission is goin to **** itself loose, than once u get moving and hit the brakes it stalls out. I have replaced the power steering column, ignition coil and plugs what else is there two do?
If the power steering is tight and does not loosen up,i would say the power steering pump is locked up.With the engine not running ,remove the drive belt from the engine.Try and turn the power steering pulley with your hand.It should be easy to turn, turn it 4 or 5 times all the way around. If you can not move the pulley,or it stops,or gets tight turning it all the way around, then it is a bad power steering pump. This is something you will want a mechanic to do.If I can help, let me know.
