Check the earth (chassis) connection. If all the lights are out it won't be a fuse(indicaters and break lights and tail lights do not share 1 fuse) so more likely the earth connection.

Brake lights 2001 Oldsmobile aurora

Did you check STOP LP fuse 15amp. in the rear fuse block ? Do you know where this is. Fuse Block - Rear Under the rear seat, on the left side of the floor pan.
The STOP LP fuse in the fuse block - rear supplies battery positive voltage to the normally open stop lamp switch. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the switch contacts close. The battery positive voltage flows to the left stop lamp assemblies, to the right stop lamp assemblies and to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL). The left stop lamp and the CHMSL have ground at G402. The right stop lamp has ground at G401.
Did you check for power at the stop lamp switch ? both in an out of the switch with brake pedal pressed ?

Where is the stop lamp or brake lamp fuse and panel for a 2007 cadillac cts?

Kevin , this is a very complex way of stoplamp control , I will post GM service Description and Operation of how they work an let you deside if you want to tackle this ! Do the center high mount brake lights work ?
The brake pedal position sensor is a resistive device used to sense the action of the driver's application of the brake pedal. The brake pedal position sensor provides an analog signal that will increase as the brake pedal is pressed.
The brake pedal position sensor receives both a 5-volt reference voltage and a low reference signal from the electronic brake control module (EBCM). When the brake pedal is pressed, a variable signal is applied from the brake pedal position sensor to the EBCM through the brake sensor signal circuit. The fuse block left rear supplies battery positive voltage to the bass relay switch through the BASS fuse. One side of the bass relay coil is permanently grounded at G402. The EBCM supplies voltage to the bass relay coil upon receiving the signal from the brake pedal position sensor. The switch contacts of the bas relay close and battery positive voltage is applied through the bas relay switch to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL), and to the turn signal/hazard flasher module through the stop lamp switch signal circuit. The ground for the CHMSL is applied from G402. The turn signal/hazard flasher module then supplies voltage to the left and right stop lamps in the tail lamp assemblies that have ground at G401 and G402. For export vehicles the stop lamps receive battery positive voltage directly from the bass relay.

There could be a code stored in the EBCM - electronic brake control module - DTC B3903 Stop Lamp Relay Circuit
DTC C0278 Brake Pedal Position Sensor Not Calibrated
there are several other codes that pertane to the brake lights . you could try Replaceing the bas relay !

Where is the brake lightfuse located at on my 2004 envoy xl

There is only one fuse for the brake light, so if the passenger side is working, the fuse is OK. You most likely have a bad bulb, bad bulb socket or a wire issue. The circuit board that all of the rear light are mounted to also has had problems in the past.
BTW - the fuses for the rear light are under the rear seat.

Need to know where the brake light fuse is

Hi there,

Your Brake Light fuse (10A) is located in the driver's side kick panel (see diagram below).

If your 10A fuse is OK, then you may have an issue with your Brake Switch (mounted to your brake pedal assembly).

Driver side brake light doesnt work but other brake light does changed bulbs still does not work

Make sure the fuses are good. There is a fuse for left and right brake lights. The fuse blocks are under the hood and there`s also one under the drivers side rear seat.If the fuses are good then remove the rear lamp assembly and check the bulb.I believe there are 2 screws and then just pull lamp assembly out.Hope this helps.Good luck.

1999 GMC Envoy: replaced both GE 3057 lamps in left rear light assembly. Lamps both light. However depressing brake pedal does not initiate brake light. The righ rear brake light does work. The high mount...

The high mount brake light has its own fuse, so check that first. The high mount bulb is generally a stabdard type (there may be more than one bulb) or you can replace with an LED. As for the left rear bulbs not working when depressing brake pedal, check the bulbs again for any spring that may be broken. If the bulbs are still good, make sure there is sufficient contact with the socket. If still not working, have someone check it out further.
