2000 Grand Caravan. The transmission has started whining when put into drive. Car will only get to 10-30 mph before transmission completely slips out and engine revs as if in neutral. Check engine light came on when tranny slip started while driving. It has remained on. Tried to check for codes with ignition on/off, but did not get any.
Engine is 3.0 V6. Fluid level OK.
