1995 Chevy Pickup- Blower works on high only

The resister is usually located in the air box above the passengers feet ,high indicates the resistor needs to be replaced

Your blower resistor is mounted in the HVAC housing and is electrically in line with the blower motor. It will be mounted just to the left of the blower motor woth 2 screws.

The resistor module is located behind a relay and two connectors attached to a metal bracket on top of the duct above and to the left of the blower fan. Remove the two screws and carefully pull the bracket forward far enough to remove the relay and the two connectors from the bracket. Behind you will see the connector of the resistor module standing upright. On the right side of the connector is a clip which releases the connector. Once released, separate the male connector from the oval female connector. On either side are two screws which hold the assembly to the top of the duct. Once removed, the resistor module can be lifted up. It is a tight fit and the assembly must be turned around and back and forth until it finally can be removed. Remember how it came out and install the new on in similar fashion. If clearances do not allow the old one to be removed or the new one to be installed, it is okay to memorize the location of each coil and then bend one or two enough to get the old module out and the new one close to installation but remember to bend each coil back to their original positon before actually fastening the new module down. Once fastened in place, reverse the removal procedure and reinstall each component.
