1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. How do you activate/de-active the power window Lock button located on the drivers side door panel? All the windows, except drivers side, are in the locked mode and can't be opened or closed using their power switch. However, the all the windows can be opened using the power switches on the Drivers Side Door panel. This problem is intermintent. Sometimes all the doors power window switches are functional, then without touching the Lock Window Button on the drifvers side door panel, the locked window problem returns. I have no idea why this is happening. The original Owner's Manual ,that came with the vehicle, does not even mention the Window Lock button
I WOULD CHECK THE WIRING BETWEEN THE DRIVER'S DOOR AND THE POST..YOU WILL SEE A RUBBER BOOT BETWEEN DOOR POST AND DOOR..HAVE SEEN PARTIALLY BROKEN WIRES CAUSE ALL SORTS OF PROBLEMS HERE
