SOURCE: front bumper

To remove the bumper on a honda civic;

1. open your hood and unscrew 3 screws ( some have plastic catchers).
2. there is another bolt above your front tyre, you have to unbolt that..(right above the tire, by your mudguard or whatever they call that plastic piece to stop mud or water to get in contact with wires on the door.)
3. same on the other size...
4. you are good to go then...good luck..

SOURCE: replacing the hood release cable.

When you open the hood, remove the plastic clips. they're should be around 5 or 6 of them. after that they're are 2 10mm screws on the bottom of your car. remove those. After you remove those. Then at the end where the fender connects to the bumper on both sides they're are 2 phillip screws.

Where is the horn located in a 1999 Honda civic ex?

Should be located in front of the radiator kinga low. You might be able to see it if you look through the air gap in the bumper cover.

One side of front bumper cover is hanging down on my 98 handa

You should remove the bumper cover and take a look and make sure that the cover is not broken, its all plastic and the hold down arms sometimes break off and bumper will hang, also look for missing or loose fastners,

Front bumper replacement diagram

Not familiar with Hondas, but to remove the bumpers on cars I've worked on, there are usually 8 bolts, 4 that attatch the bumper to the right side frame, and 4 that attatch to the left side. Be careful, that you remove any screws that attatch to the side panels FIRST!

Change the headlight assembly on a 91 honda civic si hatchback

I don't believe you do. You may have to take several of the clips or screws out, that also help to hold the bumper cover on , but that should be it

I need to replace the honda logo on the front grill for my 2001 civic. How can i do that ?

Unfortunately the bumper has to come off. The "H" is held on with tiny "push" clips, the only way to push them on is with the bumper off. To remove the bumper there are 4 clips on top of the bumper, when the hood is lifted, they are visable. Use a small screwdriver to pry up the center portion of the clip, there are 6 of the same clip under the bumper. There are 2 screws where the bumper meets the fender (they unscrew straight down, they are not on an angle.) There are also 2 screws under the bumper, below where the headlight meets the sidemarker, in that corner. Once everthing is removed, reach in the wheel well and pull the bumper out, first out to the side, then pull back towards you. Once you have the bumper off, lay it face down on a surface that won't scratch it. Place the "H" in the holes, Lay the clip over the stem and using a 1/4 inch socket, push the clip over the stem while holding the "H". Good luck!

Need to replace passenger side headlight on a 2002 Honda civic lx

I have not done this yet but I have seen a DIY on hondacivicforums.com. From what i hear to remove the headlight assembly you have to remove the front bumper to get to screws that hold the headlight assembly on.

Hope it helps.

How can I change the headlights in a 1998 Honda Accord?

Its not that hard but you have to remove bumper to get to the two bottom bolts that holds the headlights. First remove grille and there are 2 10mm bolts that holt the tip of fenders they are the first bolts under the fender weld closes to the bumper cover. Then there are two bumper mounts/brackets that hold bumper to frame/radiator support. they are held by (4) 12mm bolts may need a swivel socket to get to them( easily accessed if you remove front signal lights in the bumper held by philips screws in the corners). After removing bracket bumper should come right off. Headlights are in plain clear view. (4) 10mm bolts and you are done. Re-install in the reverse. Good Luck . If I fixed ya leave me a FIX-YA comment. Contact me if you need more info
