The tire pressure sensor indicator light is on in my 08 Avalon Limited. I checked the tire pressure and had to bring 1 up to snuff. Now all 5 tires are at the recommended air pressure and verified by the local Firestone dealer. Is there a way to reset the fault indicator? The Firestone technician said that the ''battery was probably dead'' in one of the sensors. I don't believe that he tried to reset the fault after I filled the tires.
Firestone Hmmmmmm. Well the reset button is located just under the dash to the left of the steering column, hold for a few seconds and the light should go out. Hopefuly the firestone tech won't tell you your brakes need greasing the next time you go in for service, haha. Oh, I do beleive your tire pressure should be 29 psi. But, you can check your owners manual for correct pressures. It sould also tell you where the reset button is also. That should FixYa good luck.

This is my story, my wife hit a pot hole and blew out the front tire. The spare tire was put on but the tire sensor light will not go off. The pressure is correct and the reset button does not turn it off. It did blink three times but stays on continuosly.
nomadz. I go the same issue. Had a nail removed from the tire. Correct pressure, hit reset button, light blinked three times.... still stays on.... ???? not sure what to do next

Before going to reset, check your spare tire. If it has sensor on it, it to must match others or light will stay on because it senses low pressure on a tire on one of 5 wheels
