A light comes on..it looks like an inverted horse shoe with an

Exclamation point in the middle. I've only had my 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor for 10 days and I don't have an owner's manual to see what this is.

  • Anonymous Sep 01, 2009

I don't have a handbrake. To set and release the brake I have to press on the pedal with my foot.

  • Anonymous Sep 01, 2009

This site is a little confusing. How can I identify where the handbrake facility is to de-activate it?

It means your handbrake is in use.Once you release the
handbrake that will disappear.

Testimonial: "Thank you for the information..One other question..how can I find out where the handbrake facility is...remember I do not have a owner's manual."

  • Anonymous Sep 01, 2009

Every car has the handbrake facility.

2007 tiburon exclamation point with a horse shoe around it

The little horse shoe-looking looking thing is actually supposed to be a cross-section of a tire. That would be your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) trying to tell you to check the pressure in your tires because it has determined that one or more of them are low.

This is covered in the Owner's Manual.
If you don't have an Owner's Manual for your Hyundai, you can get one HERE

When I first start the car an orange horse shoe shaped light with an exclamation mark in the middle of it comes on - then it goes off after I drive it a couple of miles.

This is the warning light indicating tire pressure needs adjusting -- usually means tires are low on air, unless the tires have recently been "pumped up" and the air pressure is too high.

HAVE A 2006 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR I GOT A LIGHT THAT LOOKS LIKE A HORSE SHOE WITH AN EXCLAMATION POINT. CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT THAT IS I DID NOT GET AN OWNERS MANUAL WITH THE CAR.

This is not a good warning light as it relates to your Braking system !!!

Brake system warning light

brake_fluid_light_72.jpg
This light will remain illuminated when the handbrake is engaged. Illumination after releasing the handbrake may indicate low brake fluid level (MUST CHECK THIS IMMEDIATELY AND RECTIFY).

Hope the information is useful ... be extremely careful and attend to this warning immediately if it is still on with your handbrake off and brake fluid top up!

How to remove inside door panel

It's usually the window winder that presents the problem . Remove all visable retaining screws ie; Grab handle , Internal door opening lever , Button on top of panel (if applicable ) etc . The majority panel are a pop snap on type . Remove the winder lever withthe aid of a shoe lace or thin piece of cloth material, The winder is retained by a horse-shoe shaped spring clip. .... Pull the shoe-lace/ material in the opposite direction of the winder retainer clip and it will easily come off, but it is a spring clip and may fly off so be careful. Good luck

I have a 2008 mitsubishi galant and i have a horse shoe shaped light with an exclamation point in the middle on on my dash board....what does this light mean?

Does it look like the one toward the bottom of this page? http://www.aa1car.com/library/warning_lights_lexus.jpg
I'm pretty sure that is a tire pressure warning light. You can find a key for this in the owners manual if you have it still.

I have horse shoe shaped light with an exclamation point in the middle that has lit yellow. I just bought the car a couple months ago and realize they didn't give me the owner's manual. What does this...

That sounds like your tire pressure monitoring system. It's just indicating that you have one of your tires low on air and your going to need to add some. 32 psi i believe.
