There is no repairing the booster you have to buy a rebuilt booster unless you can cut weld and crimp in the diagram, but before you replace it try replacing the check valve that the hose connects to going into the booster. That is available for about ten bucks.

Unbolt the master cylinder from it and move it aside. Then unhook the pedal from it and unbolt it from the firewall. First remove the entire wiper assembly to gain access. The wiper assembly comes out easier than it looks

Will the brake booster from a 2000 dodge grand caravan fit a 1997 dodge grand caravan

It's a difficult question to answer. The manufactuers make vehicles a little different from year to year.Ask at a Dodge dealership and/or purchase a repair manual on both models and make comparisons. You might be better off buying a new booster.

1995 grand caravan, brake pedal very hard

Check the vacuum line going to the brake power booster, and check valve that goes into the booster (round thing behind the master cylinder). It sounds like you have a problem with vacuum, or the power booster may have gone bad.

Working on 2005 dodge caravan, shorted a wrench to positive post of battery. Now it feels like I no longer have power brakes.

I don't see any relation between the short and the brakes. Did you do any other work on the car? Check the big vacuum hose from the engine intake manifold to the brake booster--this is where the power comes from for the brakes. Let us know if you have more questions.

I donot have a good brake i chang every thing in the brake sestem dodge caravan 1997

several possible causes for a soft brake pedal.

One is that the back brakes are probably drum brakes, and they need to be adjusted properly in order to reduce the distance from the shoes to the drum.

Another is that the master cylinder could be leaking fluid back into the reservoir when it should be pushing fluid to the wheels under pressure.

If you have opened and replaced any of the hydraulic system, there could be air in the system that needs to be bled out.

You could also have a bad power brake booster, that would make the pedal had and cause the engine idle to change when you hit the brakes.

ABS-SYSTEM....OR-dodge caravan 3.3-1991

What is the main cause of a hard pedal is failure of brake booster.....check and make sure that the vacuum to the booster is not kinked and is connected tightly....This is whats wrong if it feels as though you have no power brakes....Good Luck
