Where's the crankshaft position sensor located in 98 plymouth voy

ON the front of the engine just off the crankshaft pulley

this is for a 95 3.3, but the 98 3.3 should be the same.

3.0 3.3 and 3.8 liter engines look down on the back side of the engine on the firewall side. It will be under the crossover exhaust pipe and bolted to the transmission. It will have three wires going to it.

Guessing it's a 6 cyl, 3.0L, but should be located on transaxle housing above vehicle speed sensor.

My 98 plymouth grand voyager was having same problem changed several sensors before finding a very dirty crankshaft position sensor. After removing and cleaning my problem has disappeared. Youtube has a video on replacing this sensor. Careful when reinstalling. Position is critical to far in and hits flywheel. too far out and will not start.

its under the hood on the left inner fender

On the transmission bell housing on backside of engine nearest the fire wall.

i believe it is on front of the engine by ac compressor it screws into the block
