Check the compressor relay. not sure on yours but many of them operate both the compressor and the fan.Check the compressor relay. not sure on yours but many of them operate both the compressor and the fan.

There is an electric fan that should come on with the AC and run whenever the AC is on,if it doesn't come on it will heat up very quickly. Sounds like a problem with that radiator mounted fan. The fan is supposed to come on when the engine gets hot enough also. If so, the AC should be ok at hiway speeds. But you need the fan to work.
Wait till the engine is cold, remove the radiator cap, start engine and look for coolant gushing out of radiator or a lot of bubbles, its possible you have a blown head gasket.
Did you check for voltage at the relay ? The computer grounds the relay when engine temp reaches about 230 degrees or the ac high pressure is above 200. Can you jumper the relay contacts to make the fans run ?
hi. the sensor is usually located on the side of the radiator. it is usually a srew in unit with 2 wires coming from it. just remove the wires, unscrew the old one, and screw the new one in and reconnect the wires. if you are lucky, you should not loose more than a cup of coolant either. hope this helps
this could be cause by the thermastate or the fan could not be working i would replace the thermastate and check fan make sure it is running when the car heats up
