My CD player is running but, No Cd Inside

I was using my CD player recently and the radio ejected the CD on it's own but, the problem is the CD player was still running so now my battery is dead and I am unable to get into my car. I have AAA on the way but, is there anyway to I can reset my CD player/radio so that this will not happen again?

I had the same issue and this fixed it fine for me:
Remove the 10A audio fuse from the passenger side console fuse panel (see diagram), turn on power, turn off power, replace fuse. Turn on power, press eject, reset the clock. Rock on.

Yes your best bet is to take the radio fuse out of the fuse box than take the car to a audio spealist cause there seems to be a short some where in the wiring

Recently the CD player stopped working with a cd inside it says error 1/error 2 after it trys to load it also won't eject the cd at the same time this started the usb also stopped charging my devices

Try to put another cd in on top of the stuck one . don't force it , just push in a little ways then pull it out . Sometimes that will make player eject the stuck one. I would take it back to whoever installed the radio.

When i try to play a cd it ejects the 6 cd cartridge then the radio comes on

have you tried cleaning the player using a CD player cleaner ? Seems the player is not reading the CD and ejects it out. the radio comes on automatically on most cars when the player is powered on.

CD stuck in CD player and won't eject.

Disconnect the fuse for the radio. This is cause the radio to reboot. You do not need to mess with the battery. After replacing the fuse, or removing, it, and putting it back in, you can proceed to try to remove the CD. I used a pair of tweezers.I actually jammed two CDs into the player. Hope this helps.

CD player is not working.

I would first try removing the fuse to the radio/cd player, see if that resets the system and get the cd out.

Hope this helps some.
