There is a inner lense within the lense that comes lose. That lense will lean against the bulb and make it burn out. I took clear caulk to glue the inner lens in place to keep it from falling onto the bulb and burning it out. That was several years ago. I haven't had to replace a bulb since. THAT RIGHT IF BRAKE SWITCH BAD NO BRAKE LIGHT WILL WORK.SPRAY ELECTRICAL CLEANER IN BULB SOCKET BULB SOCKET COULD HAVE OXIDATION AND CORROSSION CAUSING POOR CONTACT.
Well considering the only other obvious thing that might be wrong is that your actual lights have burned out. It would seem strange that all of them would stop working at the same time, but you might still want to check and make sure the actual bulbs aren't burnt out.
2) On the inside jam there are two torx headed screws (T-15's if I
remember correctly).
3) Unscrew the two torx screws.
4) The light is now held by two mounting tabs (small spherical headed
plastic sets that go through a rubber grommet).
5) You will need to pry the light casing off (easy pressure with a good
size flat head screw driver will do the trick).
6) The light bulbs are twist mount settings inside the light casing.
7) Twist out the mount setting, change the bulbs, and reset the light
mountings.
8) To put the light casing push the light casing back on and put in the
screws. Everything else will work in reverse when it comes to assembling the
whole unit.

I have the exact same issue on a 2005 Sport. My problem is the same as another solution here -- the light bulb is touching the plastic, melting it and then shorting out. The dealer told me they were issued a bulletin about this. Seems like a pretty bad design flaw to me.
Looks like it will require a completely new light assembly. Unfortunately, my problem is with both light assemblies.
Open the back gate of the jeep. There chould be 2 screws that hold in the light assembly. Remove the screws and pull out the assembly. Replace the bulbs and replave the housing.
