Hello ,your fuel pump is losing its prime and running back into the tank. Two things could be wrong either a bad fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pump itself:)

This is caused by a few problems, one is fuel pump malfunctioning, fuel filter plugged or fuel sock is plugged. try the filter first, if it still taakes time to run test fuel pressuer at the fuel rail. if it stays at 50 PSI for 30 seconds it is ok. So you would have to check for EGR valve probem as well. So replace fuel filter first.

My truck use to start first click went to start it the other day runs for a few seconds then shuts down security code seems to be locked need to know how to bipass

Your Passlock may need to relearn the ignition keys, if the ignition lock has gone bad like my in-laws Grand Am Gt, here is what i did so they will not get stranded any more. Buy a Passlock by pass module for around $70.00. You can order one from GMPASSLOCK.COM in the mean time try resetting the Passlock. Good luck

Ignition keys relearn takes about 30 min to do. 30-Minute Learn Procedure
1.) Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2.) Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON; the vehicle will not start.
3.) Observe the SECURITY tell tale light. After approximately 10 minutes, the light will turn OFF.
4.) Turn OFF the ignition switch, and wait 5 seconds.
5.) Repeat steps 1 through 4 - two more times - for a total of 3 cycles of 10 minutes. 3x10 = 30 minutes.
The vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch turn from OFF to CRANK Important: Turn the Ignition Switch OFF. The vehicle learns the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle.
6.) Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password.
7.) With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles.

Without a scan tool you may have momentary starter interruptions while history clears itself.

My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will die going down the road. Sometimes it starts back up without me touching the key.other times I have to wait a few minutes before it will crank again.Any suggestions? Thank...

I've got to be reading this incorrectly...You are driving, the engine turns off...you pull off the road? And then without touching the key the engine re-starts, but you haven't touched the key? Or, sometimes you need to sit there for a few minutes and then turn the key to start it?

My car turns over like it wants to start but never connects. Also the security light came on yesterday and this never happens. What could be wrong?

If you have the second ignition key's with you try it.  If not try this, it takes about 30 min to do. 30-Minute Learn Procedure 1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. 2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON; the vehicle will not start. 3. Observe the SECURITY tell tale light. After approximately 10 minutes, the light will turn OFF. 4. Turn OFF the ignition switch, and wait 5 seconds. 5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 - two more times - for a total of 3 cycles of 10 minutes. 3x10 = 30 minutes. The vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch turn from OFF to CRANK Important: Turn the Ignition Switch OFF. Start the engine. The vehicle has now learned the Passlock Sensor Data Code and/or password. 7. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs if needed. History DTCs will self clear after 100 ignition cycles. Without a scan tool you may have momentary starter interruptions while history clears itself. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted, be glad to help.

When i try to start the car it wont turnover an it keeps blinking security on the dashboard

Your key has a computer chip in it that tells the computer that the person who owns the car is trying to start it. Sometimes the key will lose its memory and the car computer thinks your a thief with the wrong key. You may have to have a new key made from a code the dealer can aquire from the VIN number I believe.

Code p0300 and p1406

P0300 is misfire and p1406 is EGR. It sounds like you have a chunk of carbon stuck in the EGR valve. Remove the valve and clean the carbon from the valve, bottom side. Then install a screened gasket so it won't happen again.

Saturn LS1 2000 wants to start but won't

The fab key activates the security system in the car, the ignition pass lock may need to be reset to your ignition key's. It Takes about 30 min to do. Try resetting the pass lock to read your ignition keys. Without a scan tool you may have momentary starter interruptions while history clears itself. Good luck and hope this helps. The ignition keys has a resistor value for the ignition to read and after a few years the resistance may change and the Pass Lock has a had time reading it's value so you have to reset the pass lock to read the keys again.
