I have a kia rio Ls 2001 model manual. while i drive i hear a noise like a motorcycle is beside me.. the noise comes at the back .aside from that i cant understand the sound of the engine as if i have a muffler.

Sounds like you have a bad connection at the battery, wiggle the terminals they are very thin on that car. Check all your major grounds under the hood. All of that assuming the battery is in good condition
Pull out your console (very carefully with a flathead screwdriver) it just pops off, and check your wire connections leading to your radio. you may take it out with a screwdirver and a bit of a yank but be careful, its really not that hard, it all just snaps into place, there are a lot of wires back there one may just be loose

You really need to get the Haynes repair manual for your vehicle. Aside from having to remove and disassemble a great deal of the Engine to get to this there is a specific order and method to removing the head retaining bolts and if done incorrectly the head will crack.
Look under the car for a piece of flat black rubber that is coming loose. This is a common problem with many cars that have scrapped the bottom on curbings and such.
there can still can be a problem some auto parts store can test the car with a computer for free and the you what it is. it can be a loose gas cap or a sensor. e.t.c
Are you positive its the fuel pump? Have you tried running the pump with the return line off to see if it pumps fuel? They don't always have to make a noise.
