the selecter rods are not in the right position you may have turned gearbox drive shaft when locating new clutch sorry your going to have to take selecter mechanism off and by a bit of trial and error reposition until you can select all gears

back up light switch is bad

look at the revers fuse mine was bad a wire was rubbing a bolt under the air cleaner hose hope this helps you

Check the gear linkages for wear at all the joints and connections. Check for worn or missing rubber or nylon bushes or loose connector ends. Have someone hold the gear shift input into the box and move the gear lever, there should be minimal movement except in the neutral position and then only left to right.

Its probably the backup light switch on the transmission.

It sounds like the headlight switch is bad.
