I had a problem with starts on my 98 sc2, did it twice only, but it would start up, shake a bit then shut down like it wasn't getting fuel, or a wrong mixture. Replaced the coolant temperature sensor and starts / idles like new now... goodluck

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

As a general rule, with a laterally positioned V6 , Bank 1 is always closest to the firewall Bank 2 is closest to the headlights.

Sensor 1 is ALWAYS the one in the Exhaust Manifold, and Sensor 2 is ALWAYS the one AFTER the Catalytic converter.

Exacty, what did you do to replace it. The only thing I can think of , is you disconnected the battery. Every manual says to do this for anything you do to a car. Turn the ignition on. Look at the security light. It should go off after 3 seconds. No. Do a reset. Turn it on for ten minutes, off for thirty seconds. Try to start. No start, do a relearn, Three times this and try to start after the third time. Have a battery charger on it.

Slow to start after fueling / also what is po496 code

code p 0496 refers to evaporative emission system-high purge flow===causes --wiring---EVAP valve ---mechanical fault
there is no accelerator pump in an EFI vehicle so pumping the pedal is a useless exercise
the accelerator pedal position sensor just tells the throttle position sensor when to put the throttle plate but the information is relayed to the ECM to set up the fault code

Could be cam position sensor or crank position sensor. These will code eventually.

Saturn vue 2008 motor won't rev up and vehicle barely moves

possibly a bad Throttle motor or Throttle position sensor most newer cars do not have Cable operated throttles and are run by a sesnor in the foot pedal and a motor in the throttle body.

The electricsal gas pedal

The pedal itself is the sensor. It is all one assembly called the accelerator pedal position sensor. If you are getting a code for this or the throttle position sensor don't assume either are at fault. There are many problems with wiring and the throttle body assembly which contains the throttle position sensor so a thorough diagnosis is needed before any parts should be put on.
