My oil level sensor for my clio (51 plate) is not working properly. Can anyone tell me where it is located and if it can be repaired.
Also can anyone tell me the location of the fuel filter is and how to replace as there is an error in my Haynes manual which means this is not covered.
The oil level sensor is screwed into the engine block on the front of the engine it has a 2pin connector on the end of it.
as for the fuel filter its probably an intank one, the service life of these ones is something like 160,000 miles, to change these u will need to remove the fuel tank sender unit and if you do make sure its practicaly empty of fuel because the plastic fuel tanks can distort
In answer to the 1st part of your question it is screwed into the front of the engine block easier to get from underneith car you cant miss it it will be a blue 2 pin conector and is very easy to replace and as for the fuel filter it is located at the front of the fuel tank and is a samll plastic filter with a hose goin into eaither side wich is also very easy to replace hope this helps
