Oil level sensor clio. Fuel filter location?

My oil level sensor for my clio (51 plate) is not working properly. Can anyone tell me where it is located and if it can be repaired.

Also can anyone tell me the location of the fuel filter is and how to replace as there is an error in my Haynes manual which means this is not covered.

The oil level sensor is screwed into the engine block on the front of the engine it has a 2pin connector on the end of it.

as for the fuel filter its probably an intank one, the service life of these ones is something like 160,000 miles, to change these u will need to remove the fuel tank sender unit and if you do make sure its practicaly empty of fuel because the plastic fuel tanks can distort

15. Remove the low oil level sensor, if required.
16. Clean all sealing surfaces on the engine and the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Clean and Inspect.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

IMPORTANT: The low oil level sensor is not reusable. Use a NEW low oil sensor.

1. Install a NEW low oil level sensor, if removed.
Tighten the sensor to 20 Nm (15 ft. Lbs).
NOTICE: Any time the transmission and the engine oil pan are off of the engine at the same time, install the transmission before the oil pan. This is to allow for the proper measurement of the oil pan tolerance. Failure to achieve the correct clearance can result in premature transmission failure.
2. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Installation.
3. Install the transmission to oil pan bolts and nuts.
Tighten the bolts to 47 Nm (35 ft. Lbs.).
4. Install the access plugs for the oil pan rear nuts,
5. Install the bracket for the starter positive cable and the transmission cooler lines to the side of the oil pan.
Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs).
6. Connect the low oil level sensor electrical connector.
7. Install the transmission cover.
Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs).

Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. Lbs).
12. Install the oil filter and the oil pan drain plug. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
13. Lower the vehicle.
14. Fill the engine with oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
15. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Cable Replacement (Positive/Negative) in Starting and Charging.

My Toyota nadia d4 is mixing fuel nd oil.but the level of oil is not rising its actualy getting low .if u touch it its light and smells of petrol..By the exhaust the black smoke is wet..what must i...

The high pressure fuel pump is leaking fuel past its seals into the engine oil.

The hp fuel pump is located on the valve cover.

The oil level will not rise because when the oil is contaminated with fuel, it's viscosity is affected, and it will make the engine burn more oil.

You will need to replace the High Pressure Fuel Pump, drain and fush oil and replace oil filter.

Electrical problems 2013 yukon denali loss of power

Number 1 use scantool to get codes then diagnise from there. Buy one it will be the best money you ever spend on a vehicle and you can use it on all your vehicles. If want a good answer You have to be more Specific could be anything but here is a small checklist: Oil level should not be over full it is worse than low oil level. Oil filter changed within last 6000 miles. Use gas with lowest amount of ethanol available. Have your fuel system checked under load to make sure it is putting out rated psi. Check fuel filter. Sparkplugs make sure you have good brand like NGK option for your vehicle and gapped properly. Make sure all your O2 sensors and Maf sensors are working.

Would a bad oil pressure switch cause a no start on a 98 b2500

Hi,
Symptoms of a bad or failing Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
  • Oil Pressure Light comes on, and you check the engine oil level, But oil level is okay, you can blame the false reading on the sensor.
  • Oil Pressure Light blinking constantly. This is the normal >check< oil pressure sensor Warning that the sensor is going out.
  • If the sensor is giving false readings, Dispite oil level, the sensor could be replaced.
If the Sensor is currently not working, and does not warn you of engine oil level, and oil level gets extremely low, The Engine could burn up/stall due to lack of oil, and may not restart.
Then you could probably blame it on the sensor.
But really would be lack of oil.

Intermittent No Start,
Common causes deal with 3 basic systems/areas of engin
  1. Compression, its the build up of air and fuel into the engines cylinders. Then is compressed by the pistons. And is under pressure. FAILURE An Air leak (vacumm leak) will allow pressure to escape.
  2. Ignition System, good battery, good relays, wires are not loose or disconnected, good 10volts to starter, 10volts to distributer>gives 20kvolts to spark plugs>has strong spark to ignite compressed air in cylinders. Other sensors need to work. Crankshaft sensor(ccs) Throttle Position Sensor(TPS), +more
  3. Air/fuel Ratio, Air Intake Manifold, and Fuel Pressure Sensor *Fuel Injection Pressure Sensor---if car is fuel injected*, air filter is clean and intake manifold hose, Throttle Plate Acuater, Idle Air Contro Valve(IAC). Also vacumm leak cause no start. To much air not enough fuel will cause lean fuel mixter==low power, low idle, no start.......To much fuel not enough air will cause rich fuel mixter==too much fuel could cause engine knock, flooding of engine wet spark plugs, No Start
Scan Vehicle computer for Codes, Places like AutoZone---Discount AutoParts will connect scanner for free, And Code Will say What is wrong with Vehicle,

Where the heck is the oil pressure sensor on a diesel rodeo

disregard auto advice as there is no connection
oil pressure sensor switches are located in the oil galley along the block or next to the oil filter housing
normally only one wire
I suspect that the wire to the switch is loose and not making proper contact
The fix here is to eliminate any mechanical problems ( pump and filter blockage ) by having an accredited service center remove the sender unit and fit a mechanical oil gauge to see what is happening with the pressure
If it reads within the specified limits, replace the sender unit or check the wire for loose , broken or shorting out

How do i change my oil?

Remove filler cap,
lift car
then from under the car remove oil pan drain plug.
Allow oil to drain into an oil waste pan.
Change oil filter also ..located under skid plate..use filter wrench to remove filter. Be careful as filter is full of oil ..drain in waste pan
wipe filter mounting plate clean..put a thin coating of oil on new filter gasket before spinning it on to the mounting plate..hand tighten and then tighten about 3/4 more turn.. reinstall drain plug. do not over tighten or you can strip the threads. Install correct viscosity and amount of oil start engine. let run to get pressure up. shut off engine, check level with dipstick and close cap....you are done.
