Check valve inside fuel pump is bad , need new fuel pump . The check valve is suppose to keep pressure in fuel lines . Try turning the ignition on - off a few times ,to build up pressure . The PCM/ECM engine computer energizes the fuel pump relay for two seconds when key is turned on to prime the fuel system .

did you try changing the fuel filter? it could be completely clogged

clogged fuel filter maybe

the other wire that is "dead" is the ground wire for the fuel pump. try cutting that wire after the connector towards the pump, and running it to a good clean ground.

well i would try squirting fuel into the throttle body when it is in its not running mode. if it starts and runs you know the fuel pump is at fault .. or its not getting the right fuel pressure from it..
