There are several possible problems that can cause this. 1) Leak in your head gasket. 2) Timing Belt issue 3) Needing a tune up.

The best place to start is in the with a compression test. If the compression is good then move to a tune up and verify the timing. If the compression is bad, extreme differences between the cylinders or low compression in any cylinder you need to have the head gasket replaced and the Head serviced.

Sounds like a fuel problem, fuel filter clogged, or low pressure on fuel pump.

1994 plymouth sundance with loss of horse power

On this i think you will find you have a pluged cadilac converter. Try taking the bolts out of the pipe going to the convert and move it out of the way so not to restrict the exhaust. You may need to wire it up to the bottom of the car so it wont drag. It is going to be loud but take it for a run if it accelerates like it should you will need to replac the converter. If it doesnt then check for a code on the TPS switch. { Throttle Posions Sencor} Good luck and hope this helps.

My 89 Camaro has sat through the winter, and now after getting it started and "freshend" up, I am having major problems driving it. It idles and goes into gear fine, and the RPMs raise normally when I rev...

If you car has been sitting for that long of a period it may have water in the gas. Water is heavier then gas and will block your fuel filter which will cause you to loss power because of lack of fuel, as the water runs down/off the filter it always gas through then will block it again. Try some stp fuel treatment, read bottle to make sure it drys up water in the gas. Add some more gas after emptying the fuel treatment to your gas. problem should clear up.
