2004 G-35 Coupe, Front tire size is 225 and rear size is 245 (original mfg supply) had all four tires on car the same - Faulkens 225/45ZR18 95Y on front, and 245/45ZR18 95Y on rear. One rear tire damaged in flat beyond repair. Replaced both rear tires with Faulken 245/45ZR18 100W M+S. Front tires 8/32" tread depth, new rear tires 10/32" tread depth. Tire pattern appears same on front and rears. Now car slip control (VDC) comes on on corners intermittenly both at 60-65 mph and even at 30-35 mph. Sounds like front brakes. Took to Infinity dealer who checked car and codes said no error codes and all was fine on sensors. Tire dealer said new tires shouldn't cause this, but have told him to replace the new ones with original tread and size tired.
Question what is causing this? HELP!
Tire outside diameter will directly affect slip control. a 225/45/18 is smaller than 245/45/18. What is important here is the rolling diameter as each wheel sensor measures this and compares it to the others when it sees a difference like this that is constant you will get an error code or light. You will have to put the same size tires on all 4 wheels to correct this problem. Sorry to give you the news....
Here is the tire spec size I just looked up for your car.
This info is provided from Chrysler: Split 5-spoke 18 x 7.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/50R18 (front) and 18 x 8.5-inch 245/45R18 (rear) W-rated summer performance tires.
Got this from the manufacturer, point is the difference in the tire percentage the 50 and the 45 along with the width makes these tires the same outside circumfrance. The tire sizes you have listed do not. In other words a 225/50/18 is 50% of the width (225) for the height were a 245/45/18 is only 45% of the width (245) for the height. Take a string or tape measure and measure the outside diameters they should be very close to the same front to rear and side to side.

You have a computer for your control on your car. It is set up so only the factory front and rear tires sizes will work, any change, it picks it up. this should solve the problem.

Thanks for the comment, however, the tires ARE the factor specified sizes for both front and rear, per manual and original wheel sizes as well. Hence my perplextion at the reason this is occurring.
Thanks, vtrktrmm for the response, however the tires on front from Infinity brand new were 225s and rear were 245s Michellin Pilots. This is how vehicle is designed and operates. Like I said in orignal post, the problem just started to occur after new rears were put on, so had the vehicle checked out by Dealer who found no error codes on sensors or internal pitch/yaw control. Thanks again for your help, but think there must be something else causing the problem.
