You don't have a short in the fuse box ! Before you cause more problems ,take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop . The fuse just supplys battery voltage for the wiper's . I guarantee it's not the fuse box . The fuse for the front wipers is located in the rear fuse box . FRT WPR fuse # 33 25 amp. The rear fuse box is located under the left rear seat. I would bet the pluse board on the front of the wiper motor is bad , not the fuse box . I have thirty years of GM dealer ship experience as a technician . Just because pulling the fuse turns them off doesn't mean there is a short in the fuse box , it's just cutting battery voltage to the wiper motor . Wiper motor pulse board is bad , these go out all the time an cause the problem your having . https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2004/gmc/envoy_xuv/body_electrical/wiper_motor_pulse_board_kit.html?brand=ac_delco
WIPER fuse 25amp. instrument panel fuse box. Do you know where the I/P fuse box is ? Left side of the instrument panel , have to open drivers door to get to it .
On newer cars the fuse box is normally on the side of the dashboard, next to the driver door, you need to have that door open to see the pop off cover. The fuses should be labeled on the cover, and/or fuse slot.
look under the hood for main engine fuse box. should be a black box that contains the main engine fuses and relays.open lid and on the underside of the lid look for the wiper relay location.if your wipers are'nt working, check the fuse for the wipers also.if your wipers work on full speed, your problem may be in the wiper switch itself. thank you for choosing fixya.com
The fuse for the rear wiper should be in fuse location 8 and it is a 15A fuse. It is located in the power distribution box under the hood on the drivers side.
if you check in your owners manual it will show you where to find the location of fuse boxes and which fuse does what, but you test them with a test light and the key on.
for the rear wiper check fuses # 7 and #12 in the fuse box inside the vehicle.....as far as the seat one of the seat motors are bad and the only way to repair it is get a used seat or order a new seat tack from the dealer...the motors are not offered separate
