Do I have to remove the air conditioner compressor on a 1996 buick roadmaster so I can install a air conditioner bypass pulley for serpentine belt?

Yes, the bypass pulley fits into the same area that the compressor will have to be removed from.

If it's for fuel efficiency, some people just remove the wiring/plug from the compressor and tape it to the side so that it won't engage, if the clutch isn't damaged it's the same as using a bypass pulley.

Also, the clutch can be replaced and used instead of the bypass pulley, in the event it is bad, retaining the ability to go back to an A/C system should you ever desire.

Good luck !

How to adjust the fire advance on a hyundai accent 1996

Your engine has ignition coil's, it is distribuless, no ignition timing adjustment, it is control by your engine's computer, if your having some kind of timing problem, you might want to check timing belt that it did not jump a tooth.

Need to replace serpentine belt on 96 pontiac bonneville don't have diagram on how to put it on pulleys, and motor mounts are in the way how do i do it?

On Bonnevilles (1996 SE ), the belt is routed around the front engine mount to get to the air conditioner accessory. Once you turn the tensioner counter-clockwise using I believe 5/8" socket with a 1/2" drive breaker bar, so you have good leverage, you can remove the belt from the accessories. The front engine mount has three legs that connect to the front of the engine (on the passenger side of the car). You have to unscrew the lowest of the three mounting points (easiest done from the under side of the car, with the plastic shielding moved out of the way), which is right next to the crankshaft pully. Then there is a round tube spacer in between the engine block and this leg of the engine mount that you take out, and you can pull the belt out through there.

There is a squealing noise when I turn on the air conditioner - does the belt need to be replaced?

check the belt for cracks, if belt look ok adjust it, some times the belt will come out of adjustment. After you have adjusted the belt if it still makes that squealing noise the a/c compressor could be locking up and will have to be replace.
