1998 Lexus GS400 Cylinder 3 coil wiring diagram. Plug fell apart. I have new one but need color codes to which slot in plug. Its 4 wires. Brown, Black\stripe, red\stripe, red

The old plug fell apart before we took a picture of it. I just have 4 wires hanging that will slide into new plug. Just not sure of order. If anyone has a picture or color code of it would be great. New plug has no wires its a factory OEM plug. Was told 4V engine.

If the colours on the new plug are different,no problem. Just make sure the same amount and colour go back to the original holes/terminals.
If you still need help, you should let us know which engine you have. Also if it is a 2V or 4V.

You need to install a 3-2 wire converter. I suggest a CURT 56175 then
1.Using a test lamp, identify the corresponding wires in the harness for the left turn, right turn, tail lights and brake lights. 3. Temporarily remove the vehicle's negative battery cable from the battery. 4. Using wire taps, attach the input wires of the tail light converter to the corresponding vehicle harness wires identified in step 2 as indicated.
Converter Brown Wire: Tail Light Circuit Converter Yellow Wire: Left Turn Circuit Converter Red Wire: Brake Light Circuit Converter Green Wire: Right Turn Circuit
5. Locate a suitable mounting location for the ground eyelet on the vehicle near the converter on vehicle's frame or cross member.
And your ready to tow!

Hello, hope you can help, this is a hard one,98 lexus gs400 had starter put in.when the job was finish, the car was misfiring shaking pretty bad,so he checked the code misfire no2 the first time, however the...

Check Engine Light On, P030x Specific-Cylinder Misfire Code A cylinder specific misfire indicates that either compression, appropriate fuel mixture, or spark is missing. Start with a visual inspection, looking for a vacuum leak near the cylinder and any sign of wear on the spark plug wire. Check the compression on the target cylinder to ensure that the engine is mechanically sound. Use a stethoscope to listen to the suspect cylinder's fuel injector. Listen for distinctive clicks and compare to another cylinder.

6 cylinder is miising on my 1998 foed explorer 4.0

Pull the plug and see if it's fouled...should be a light brown color. If it is covered in oil then you have a dead cylinder (oil getting passed the rings). Or the plug may be cracked on the wire-end...seen that before. If the plug is good, and wire is good (check with meter), then could be the distributer cap/rotor. Check that last though...

Coil pack harness

Its important not to cross the wires in the plug if they are exposed, damage to your E.C.M.is possible.Make sure you unhook the batt. before changing anything electrical to avoid computer damage and have codes avaliable for your radio.A auto parts store willnot carry this plug, you will need to contact a auto recycling yard or salvage yard to get this plug.If you you find one ask if you can have the plug with 6-in of wire so you can either splice the wires together or try pulling each individual wire out of your old plug and put them into the new plug.Mark all wires and where they go.Write on paper.( a diagram of the wires)which wire goes where and what the color code of each wire is.Hope this helps.
