I'd pull IAC , (idle air control) motor off and clean it as well as hole it comes out of with throttle body cleaner, especially pintle (pointed part ) of IAC motor. Re-install it & see if it solves problem. If it does & starts to do it again in future, replace it.

Having problem with power steering 2000 Dodge Durango. Could it be the power steering pressure switch?

The pressure switch is only there to tell the PCM (computer) when the pump is developing high pressure. If the engine RPM is near idle (as when parking), the PCM will increase idle speed through the inlet air control (IAC) valve to prevent stalling. The pressure switch has nothing to do with the function of the power steering itself.

Toyota corolla hatch 2002 idle at 2000 rpm when

All the above is normal , except 2000rpm is a little high at idle . can be adjusted down to 1500rpm. the computer adjusts the engine speed . in drive the transmission loads up the engine idle drops to 1000rpm . in park engine unloaded rpm increase all normal.

Dodge drango 2000 will not idle in cold weather until warmed-up

I would test, or replace my IAT sensor . (Intake air temperature sensor)
If it's defective, it will send wrong signal, thus wrong mixture for cold engine.

2000 Durango SLT 5.9Ltr. Will start but idles high, around 7000-7500. All dash lights come on and stay on for a while. Voltage gage drops to below charge range and then all of dash dies and Durango starts...

well the fast idle is 1 of 2 things, Either the throttle is stuck? or a super nasty vacume leak, Check all hoses carefully, if that proves good check intake leak. Something is allowing tremendous vacume into engine causing this high idle, The charging system is a whole nother story

Runing high rpm while in idle

First check for a loose hose or a vacuum leak. If you do not find a leak most likely the throttle position sensor is stuck and causing the truck to idle high. The throttle position sensor sticks, and if this happens you will need to replace it.
