check your temp control sensor or maf sensor

bad oxygen sensor is the definition

there are two sensors on that cooling system, one for the gauge or light in the car the other to turn on the fans at operating tempature. to test for a thermostat issue, as the car comes up to temp check to see if the upper and lower radiaror hoses are the same temp, (laser thermoter recomended) i use my hands. if one is hot and one is cold than a thermostat is stuck closed. and yes a leak can cause a problem with both the temp sensor and the thermostat.

the light has nothing to do with oil or coolant levels. it comes on for one of the following reasons. You will need to have the system computer memory tested to see which fault the system has.

your vehicle speed sensor may be dropping out at times..without this signal,your cruise will not work properly..it is located in the trans housing where right side axle shaft goes into transmission..unplug it..check for pushed out pins,corroded wiring connections..remove sensor..1 10mm headed bolt..might be tight coming out..check plastic gear on sensor..may be damaged..also check engine computer for speed sensor trouble code..let me know if you find anything abnormal
