Vents Not Blowing Air

The air only blows out from the floor. What is the problem i need to get it fixed real soon cause i live in michigan and it will be cold real soon

Yes winter is approaching ....if yer doing this yourself it will be detailed my friend ...remove the control unit itself and visually look for vacuum lines cracks or lever corrosion this works on vacuum and a steel line it may be slipping or bent follow the cable from the heater down or its possible you have a blockage in the vent Ive seen it a hundred times

Very little heat blowing from 1997 venture. possible causes, and how to check each.

The age of your vehicle warrants Replacing Thermostat and water pump. Flush radiator and refill with fresh anti-freeze. Replace coolant temperature sending unit, its bad. Also check for any bad hoses, your vehicle is old.

2008 jeep liberty vents not blowing out air?

I also have an 08 liberty, but my issue is that the heat won't blow out on the floor....the air vents and defrosters work great. You can hear it trying to switch over but doesn't. You need a new Air Flap Actuator (16-$30) The real issue is that you have to take offf the whole das in order to fix it. That is abouy 9 hours worth of work.

Why does my 1998 ford explorer stop blowing out of the front vents and start blowing hot air out of the floor vents and defrost vents when i start up a hill but when i get to the top it starts working...

Y You should check the filter goes on the floor vent.has to be change,and just in case it is a machine special to check air conditions,but not every one have it,the manufacturer or representative seller garage shop,they fixed but expensive

AC is only blowing through the defrost vents in the dashboard?

I think your problem is the head unit that selects where the air comes out ie. Face, floor, defrost, or hi-level face and floor. If that's not working then it will not let you switch location that you want the air to come out.

I cant get my 2000 ford focus heater to switch blowing frow the floor to blow to the defroster or air conditioner vents. It just stays blowing to the floor

go by liquid coolant and check ur heat and ac fan it might be stuck or broken

99 GMC Sierra 4.8 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive new body style ac does not blow cold air from the front vents on the dash? Still get some cold air from bottom by floor vents,

if both vents are blowing air in general then you may need to get your air conditioner recharged, but if the front vents aren't blowing at all then you may just have a jammed vent flap and you can fix that from under the hood next to the blower motor. check you rowners maual for the exact location

Ac compressor running air blowing but blows real faint on floor board but wont blow out face vents at all.

you may have an in cabin air filter, if so it may be clogged. check your owners manual for removal and installation intructions.

Air stops blowing through the vents when accelerating

u have a loss of vacuum to the ac mode control switch, this switch applies vacuum to diff vacuum motors to move air to diff outlets, dash, floor, defrost etc. either the vacuum line or vacuum resivior at the engine is leaking or the mode control is leaking vacuum.
