There is alot of bolts and screws to hold the panel on. i can send you a diagram the has all the locations for what you need to remove the door panel. just note that it isn't usually the switch, I would check the wiring to the door for broken wires. (do not cut the rubber boot tho. just back it out of the way to inspect the wire. The rubber boot protects the wires from salt and road hazards that cause alot of damage. if you wish to get diagram just email me ..

Olds aurora 1999 all four power windows quit working at one time. power sunroof still works.

Then you have two possibilities. First, most likely. Wires have broken. Open the drivers door and at the front you will see a rubber boot from the frame to the door. This is where the wires like to break. Second would be the master switch failed. I have replaced one or two(in 30 years) that the switch completely died. Usually just one or two windows quit working.

Only the driver side window works the passager door window ad both real windows don't work what is the problem?

If the lock out switch is not on, I would check for power and ground at the driver's master switch.

On a 2001 olds aurora , the passanger and both rear windows wont work

Make sure you don't have them turned off on the drivers switch.
All of the switches are interconnected, so it could be the drivers switches or the individual door switches themselves. There are modules in the doors as well, but less likely to be the issue. Sometimes jiggling the switches will get them working again. Otherwise you will have to check out the switches and wiring - not really all that easy.

Window in the rear driver side door has dropped, estimate $650 to fix it! Any quick fix?

$650! Thats too much! Are they forcing you to buy a new car? Well, you could go to another mechanic and tell them that ur not using that window anymore and u would like them to be FIXED in the CLOSE position! They could do it! If u are the in the tight budget, repair it by urself and just put a WOODEN support stand to hold on the window! taah!

Drivers window will go down but not up

It may be that it is not on the track properly or your power window motor is old and tierd and can take the window down but it doesn't have the juice in it any more to bring it back up. replace the motor and it will work. This problem happened to me in my '76 ford ltd and a new motor fixed it.

Driver side window will not go down.. all other windows work

Check for broken wires in the pass through from the door to frt pillar. These cars have problems with broken wires all the time.

Power windows

Under the dash next to the steering columb there is a control module for the power windows. this has a series of relays inside. Toggle the switch on one of the doors with the power on and you should hear a clicking noise coming from the box. If no noise, check relays and fuses under the hood near battery before replacing the control module.
