The fuel filter on this car should be near the rear of the car in front of the tires and it should have screw in lines on it i believe a 5/8 wrench and 3/4 wrench should be able to remove the lines then you have to undo the bracket that holds it in place not sure what size this is.
The oil filter is a 4" cylinder near the bottom of the engine to change it make sore you have a bowl to catch the oil and simply unscrew to fit a new filter part fill with fresh oil and use some to lube the seal and screw in place

the filter is under the car twords the rear you will need a 5/8 wrench and a vise grip work best

Did you try checking or replacing the coolant sensor? I think you should replace it along with the thermostat. Are there any problems like sputtering or any unusual noises or symptoms? Smoke, anything?
