OK, you have a code PO341 which means their is a problem with the signal the ECU is receiving from the cam sensor. It does not necessarily mean the sensor is bad. It can be one of these things.
1. Cam sensor wiring routed too close to spark plug wiring (causing interference) 2. Poor wiring connection at cam sensor 3. Poor wiring connection at PCM 4. Bad cam sensor 5. Damaged reluctor wheel You replaced the cam sensor and the problem is still there so we can assume that a defective cam sensor was not the problem. Do this.
1. Check that the wiring isn't routed too close to any secondary ignition components (coil, spark plug wires, etc.) 2. Visually inspect the wiring at the sensor for any burn marks, discoloration indicative of melting or chafing 3. Visually inspect the reluctor wheel through the cam sensor port (if possible) for any missing teeth or any damage 4. If reluctor isn't visible from outside the engine, visual test can only be done by removing cam shaft or intake manifold (depending on engine design)

1997 Honda CRV. It just died, won't start but will turn over. I checked all fuses and they are good.

It could be so many things. You really need an auto electrician with a Pro grade scan tool computer to check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes. It could be fuel pump or any one of the sensors. It could even be a broken camshaft valve timing belt and it is an interference engine.

Between 1997 and 2001 Honda CRV was equipped with a timing belt under the hood. However, starting in the 2002 model year, Honda swapped out the timing belt in favour of the much more durable timing chain. To this day the CRV is still made with a timing chain.

Why won't my check engine light on Honda crv go off when I changed the 02 sensor?

P0134 is for #1 o2 sensor no activity. Google this for good info. Maybe you have a broken wire or bad plug. Did you inspect the plug pins going to sensor 1?

You have to thank the Gauge that shuts down your engine when hot bec. it wont knock...you have to clean your radiator and see if the coolant inside it run through the radiator holes to the engine water jacket to make sure your engine will not over heat...For the fans, find the fan relay...it's under the hood in the fuse box...

Code 1167 - Honda CRV 2002

Check all fuses, then check the wiring of the two 02 sensors on either side of the cat. converter. If the fuses and wiring are fine, it is likely one of the oxygen sensors; one is about $50 and the other is $200 (parts only). Use only Honda recommended parts, not BOSCH.
