1995 GMC Safari Loses Power when accelerating hard, rough idle

95 awd safari van running rich & when going up hill & accelerating hard to keep speed it suddenly loses power. At idle it runs extremely rough & rpm's flunctuate as if it was going to stop kill.
Could this be a fuel pump, catalytic converter or vaccuum line issue? Please advise.

Is this 4.3L port fuel injection or a throttle body injection that looks like a old style carb ontop with round air filter housing?

Do you have a check engine light on? Is this a 4.3 with central port injection? If it's running real rich it might have a fuel leak inside the intake, either a fuel pressure regulator leaking or a feed line to the injector.

My '95 GMC Safari Van runs slow goin up a hill then dies out what's wrong?

This sounds like a plugged fuel filter but could be a bad catalytic converter as well. Replace the fuel filter first, they are cheap and really just maintenance. If the problem is still there after you have changed the filter, you'll probably need a new cat.

No start-95 safari

Could be fuel pump, is the pump running when you turn key on, you should be able to hear it. You are likely going to have to take it to someone with a pressure gauge to make sure it is getting proper fuel pressure. Fuel pumps commonly go on these vehicles

95 GMC Safari AWD frontend noise

Sounds like the brake pads is still slightly making contact with the rotor. Replace pads and / or rotor.

Could be that the pads are wore out and are just scraping the rotor. Definately replace pads AND rotor.

Could be that the pads have broken their clips and are flopping around.

Could be a rock stuck in the overall brake assembly.
