That is HUGE for a 1.3 L engine. I seriously think you must have a fuel leak somewhere.

It sounds like one or both of the drive axle inner joints are worn out. This condition will give a very pronounced vibration on acceleration only and will be worse with increased speed.

I recommend you test the tps. Procedure at the link below. The resistance should change linearly as you open the throttle. If it skips and jumps, it is bad.

The signal is on the dark blue wire. Just put your red probe in the back of the connector on that wire terminal and hold your black probe on engine ground.

Tps is upper right on the diagram.

I have the same problem..but mine has a hard time getting up to 55 ..it also does the hard shift thing and will not excelerate going up any kind of hill.I've already replaced the input..output speed censor's and had a tune up...it has about 116,500 miles on it and i dont know if its the transmission causing the problems.
