Lets keep it simple if the wiring harness is in good condition lets not look at that... first check your fuse if the fuse is good... check for power... if you have power coming and going from the fuse then check your brake switch ( located under the dash) attached to brake pedal. Please make sure your light bulbs are both good also. If your brake light switch is good and you have tried everything else it is either going to be in your 4 way switch or wiring harness

BRAKE LIGHTS WONT COME ON ON MY 95 NISSAN ALTIMA DONE CHANGED 3 SWITCHS STILL WONT COME ON ALL OTHER LIGHTS WORK

#1 check bulbs and sockets #2 check the switch located under the brake pedal to ensure it is being activated (and has not come unplugged) when pedal is pressed. This switch may be faulty (if its not the one you mentioned above).

Brakes lights 95 pathfinder dont work

Check bulbs. If the fuse was out none of the 3 would work. Either a bulb or wiring issue.

My brake lights dont work for a 2005 nissan altima. how many fuse boxes are there to check

I saw two fuse boxes, one appears to be close to battery and interior fuse box.
As far as the interior fuse box, I'd look along lower edge of dash. Sometimes the fuse is located on the end of dash, have to open door to see it.

95 Nissan Altima 4 pin electrical connector to the distributor.

You could potentially short circuit something, but most likely if it's wrong you'd blow a fuse. Google 95 Altima distributor connector and see if a picture shows the wire colors, and plug them back in matching the picture, or check ebay/amazon for a new one. Could be called Distributor connector, distributor wiring harness, distributor pigtail, distributor electrical connection, ect.

97 Altima dashboard brake light stays on

Check your brake fluid level in the engine compartment. Its located on the rear RH side of the engine compartment, its a white/clear resevoir connecting to a large black circular object. If the fluid is low, fill to proper level, also I would recommend having your brake system checked as there may be a leak. If the fluid is fine and at the proper level, you may have a damaged/broken brake fluid level sensor or damaged/broken Emergency brake switch. Hopefully this helps....please rate thanks!!

I have a 1995 Nissan altima that has brake lights that no longer work. I have replaced both lamps, fuses and replaced the brake switch. Is there anything else I can try next?

look for a short in the wires. If you have done all of that this can be the only thing that would keep you lights from working. Take the wires leading from the break lights and follow them to see if you have a break in the wire and if so un hanes the wires from both ends and replace them. I hope this helps.
