You need 2 replace a part called the magnet it advances the crank shaft get it from the dealer

loosen the fuel rail,unplug the injector,and GENTLY pry it up with a screwdriver. thats all there is to it!!

i had a similar problem with my 99 monte 3.1 i replaced the coil wires and plugs then i looked at the fuel injectors and they were clogged causeing the car to throw codes about missfires, take a look at the injectors and try cleaning them

it will be the evap solenoid that will be the problem,not sure where it is in that car, sorry
