Battery in Dodge Ram 1500 went dead. After charging, horn won't stop honking. As soon as battery cables are reconnected, horn starts honking continuously.

First I'm not a Dodge mechanic.
* Check your warranty. Call for setrvice.
*** following is for information only.***
* horn switch is stuck. See if you can pry it back up.
* For multiple horn switches (both sides of steering wheel) check both switches for "mushy operation" or stuck in one position.

* The drained battery is probably due to a short in the electrical system
* Pull the "Horn" fuse to stop the horn (or pull out the horn wire to the horn itself. Leave it disconnected until you can confirm the bad switch or a short in another part of the system.

Make my horn honk

I looked at info for a Silverado 1500. Use a test light to check for voltage at horn fuse in under hood fuse box. According to this diagram, the horn relay has to be energized. Have a helper hit the horn switch when you check voltage at horn fuse. If hot, have to check wiring circuit to horn. In the diagram, dark green wire is voltage and black wire is ground. You could actually use jumper wires from battery for voltage and ground to horn, for testing.

2011 Dodge 3500 horn does not work but the fuses are good what do we look for and where are the horns?

Horns are behind the grill. Check power with a test light connected to ground and have someone press the horn. If no power on either terminal then you may have a bad clock spring or disconnected horn wire in the steering wheel. This means removing the airbag which is best left to a mechanic.

Ma 2004 dodge ram horn is not working any more and it went out in the same time with the cruse speed selector .

Is air bag light on also? Probably needs a clock spring. This is under the steering wheel, and allows electrical contact to several circuits while turning wheel
