What are the trouble codes? Recently had 0171 and 0174 codes. Engine coughed (or sneezed) upon a start one morning producing this problem resulting in very rough idle and stalling within 2 min of idling. Problem was vacuum hose blown off fuel regulator which is near impossible to reach without removing intake maniforld since the regulator is located between engine and firewall on 5.4l.

first take the gas cap off then remove the small clips on each side of the fuel filter and make sure the little arrow on the fuel filter is going toward the engine
